Reuben A. Rangel, MBA 

Reuben A. Rangel, MBA, is a state and local tax expert with over 15 years of experience in business incentives and property tax service delivery. In his role as Senior Manager at Advantous Consulting, Reuben is responsible for managing and assisting with the technical and supervisory aspects of business incentives and property tax projects, specifically those related to corporate headquarter expansions and relocations. He plays a vital role in the identification of emerging credit and incentive opportunities in addition to legislative and policy changes impacting the business and industry community. 

Reuben earned his Master of Business Administration and his Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management from Louisiana State University. Reuben is an active member of Louisiana Association of Tax Representatives (LATR), Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators (LATA), Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association (LIDEA), and Texas Taxpayers and Research Association (TTARA). Outside of work, Reuben contributes to the volunteer efforts of Baton Rouge Food Bank, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Toys for Tots, and Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
