Joshua Rye

Joshua Rye joined Advantous Consulting in 2026 as Senior Manager of Property Tax, where he supports clients with complex, multistate property tax matters. He brings more than six years of experience managing portfolios that span retail, industrial, office, and data center properties, with direct experience in over 20 states, primarily throughout the Southern United States. Joshua works closely with clients to navigate multi-jurisdictional challenges, compliance requirements, and strategic property tax considerations.

Prior to joining Advantous, Joshua built extensive experience overseeing multistate portfolios, developing a deep understanding of valuation, assessment processes, and jurisdiction-specific regulations across a broad range of property types. His work has required consistent coordination across taxing authorities, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and optimized outcomes in complex environments. He is an active member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and holds a Texas Property Tax Consultants License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

Joshua earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Master of Science in Management from Austin Peay State University, where he excelled as a two-time all-conference starting pitcher.
