Advantous’ Rachael Averett and Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI)’s Jim Patterson testified before the House Ways and Means Committee on the new Parish E-File system, representing the interests of business and industry.
Following stakeholder testimony, the committee voted to delay the system’s launch until February 1, 2026. The additional time will support broader education and outreach efforts and allow the Uniform Local Sales Tax Board to gather further input ahead of implementation.
