Aaron Stratman

Aaron Stratman joined Advantous Consulting as Director of Business Development in 2026. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, cultivating trusted partnerships, and connecting clients with complex federal, state, and local tax solutions. With more than a decade of experience in consultative sales and advisory roles, Aaron brings a relationship-focused approach grounded in credibility, responsiveness, and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Advantous, Aaron held senior business development and leadership roles within the tax advisory and financial services space, consistently ranking among top national performers. He has extensive experience working alongside CPAs, advisors, developers, and business owners to help identify and implement advanced tax strategies, including cost segregation, energy incentives, R&D tax credits, and other specialty tax solutions.

Aaron is known for his ability to navigate complex sales cycles, build C-level relationships, and adapt effectively within evolving organizations. He takes pride in helping clients and referral partners understand how thoughtful tax strategy can support growth, reinvestment, and risk management.

Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Aaron is married and the proud father of three children, including a daughter and boy/girl twins, along with a much-loved Australian Labradoodle who is a favorite among family and friends. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University. Outside of work, he is an avid Indiana Hoosiers sports fan, is an active member at First Presbyterian church and his community through mentorship and volunteering, loves to cook, and enjoys traveling with his family to new places.
