Aaron Simmons joined Advantous Consulting as a Manager in the Sales and Use Tax practice in 2026, bringing nearly two decades of indirect tax experience to the firm.

Prior to joining Advantous, Aaron worked with multiple international tax firms, advising clients across the manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and insurance industries. His areas of expertise include multistate sales and use tax audit defense, reverse audits, voluntary disclosure agreements (VDAs), and tax compliance.

Aaron earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Tennessee State University.
